Citric acid

The citric acid is Pharma Grade anhydrous, with a fine grained texture and a white crystalline color. Soluble in water and ethanol, it acts as a food additive E330, acidulant, preservative, antioxidant and flavoring in cosmetic and food products. In cleaning products it is used to remove lime. Very useful in soaps and washing detergents and essential in making bath bombs.

It will help regulate the pH of our formula. Citric acid is water soluble. Let's make a dilution of 10% citric acid and 90% distilled water. We will use a few drops of this preparation in our formula to adjust the pH.
