Tocopherol or vitamin E is a mixture of tocopherols with high antioxidant power used in food and cosmetics. It is a natural ingredient with 70% non-GMO soybean oil base. Its texture is liquid, viscous and amber in color with a characteristic aroma. It has good solubility in vegetable oils, animal fats, organic solvents and ethyl alcohol and poor solubility in water.

Tocopherol is added to the formula in the oil phase in the cooling process or in an anhydrous formula. In cosmetics it is used between 0.5 and 1%. If we want to use it as a vitamin, we add at least 2% to protect against free radicals.
